Your deposit amount stipulated on your quotation is required upfront for us to start the manufacturing process with any delivery fee paid in full addition to deposit to secure courier service quoted price.
- Amour-Woodpecker Pty Ltd is in the manufacturing industry manufacturing and supplying unique and custom furniture. Amour-Woodpecker specializes in hand making furniture and do so by only making per order. No stock items are kept.
- Our products are handcrafted by humans and are not machine made, please be aware there may be small imperfections. This is part of the handmade process, which is what makes our products unique and should not be seen as a fault. This should not affect the overall aesthetic of the product and its ability for use intended, it will just add to its story.
- Upon receipt of allocated deposit, orders will be processed the following day. Our production timeline may vary depending on how busy we are during such time. We will confirm your timeline upon quoting. We would rather over deliver than under deliver.
- It is the responsibility of the client to ensure the measurements, colour and total order given on the quotation is correct. Unfortunately, mistakes can happen on our side, therefore we trust our clients will double check when confirming their order.
- All orders are dealt with on an individual basis. Our items are handmade and while colour and reproductions as close to photos shown, every piece is individual and variations in actual good may occur. We cannot accept responsibly for these variations. Product flaws might be visible. No two products are the same as they are handmade and cannot be duplicated precisely.
- The customer shall collect their unit by the agreed collection deadline or, if a delivery collection has not been firmly agreed upon, without undue delay after receipt of notification that the goods are ready for collection at the agreed place of performance.
- If it is agreed that we shall ship the unit, transportation shall occur at the customer’s expense as per quotation, and we shall, in the absence of a specific instruction, choose the means of transportation and the route based on our discretion. The risk shall pass to the customer at the time when we hand over the goods to the carrier.
- Condition of the unit must be checked upon collection/delivery whereby customer accepts and confirms acceptance of the completion of which the unit has been handed over by signing the delivery note – concerns to be reported in writing with supporting media within 48 hours; hereafter Amour-Woodpecker will not be held liable.
- Final payments to be settled in full prior or upon collection/delivery. Products remain property of Amour-Woodpecker until payment has been received in full.
- All units are made custom to order with a variety of different dimensions, therefore Amour-Woodpecker does not offer any return or refund. Exceptions will only be made (in sole discretion) should we get the order completely wrong. For example, if you order a Deluxe 8 Drawer Unit but we send you a Modern 4 Drawer Sideboard. Please note that a change of heart, ‘buyers remorse’ or simply ‘not liking it’ is not a valid reason to request a return.
- All products are handmade, one piece at a time using natural materials. Any irregularities in our product should not be considered as flaws but confirm this process. Splits and cracks can occur when wood shrinks and should not be considered a flaw in our product. No two pieces will ever be the exactly same due to the hand made nature of our products. Returns will not be accepted for the above-mentioned reasons.
- Any delays caused by uncontrollable factors during time-line given for manufacturing/delivery will not be held against Amour- Woodpecker. Examples of such are weather and load-shedding.
- Due to the nature of our manufacturing and operating processes, Amour-Woodpecker does not offer a warranty on products.
